HBSPCA Committees
The HBSPCA Board of Directors and staff work with several committees to discuss and plan for the future of the organization.
Members of the HBSPCA and community members are welcome to serve on some committees, while others are for Directors of the organization only.
Applying for HBSPCA Committees:
HBSPCA committees are made up with a combination of Directors, staff, members of the HBSPCA and community members, chosen by their skills, experience and overall suitability for specific committees. Committee terms are generally two years and meeting schedules range from quarterly to monthly.
Those wishing to apply for an HBSPCA committee are asked to forward their application for review by HBSPCA staff and the Chair of the appropriate committee. You may then be contacted for an interview with the Chair of the committee and HBSPCA staff.
Because there are limited spaces on each committee, seats are not guaranteed following application.
Successful candidates will be notified of the meeting schedule. The HBSPCA will keep all suitable applications on file for review when seats on committee become available.
