Classroom Visits - all ages
What a great way to educate young people by having a volunteer from the SPCA come to your classroom. They will talk about the SPCA, what we do for animals, how we help animals, and how kids can help animals.
We can cover a wide range of topics and fit our lecture into your classroom theme.
- Pet care
- Classroom pets
- Dog bite safety
- How to approach animals and when to stay away
- What to do when you see a stray dog?
- What to do when you see animals being mistreated?
- What is animal cruelty?
- Pet ownership responsibility
- Wild animals in Hamilton
- Proper handling techniques
- How to be kind to your pet
We change our lectures to suit any age group. We typically lecture to ages 1-16 but are happy to come to any aged group.
Dates: Anytime or day throughout the year
Location: We service the Hamilton/Burlington and surrounding area
Cost: $40 for a group up to 35 children. $10 for each additional group of 5 children
