Junior Humane 7-12
The Junior Humane program is great for children aged 7-12. Through fun lectures, hands-on time with animals, guest speakers and their animals, crafts, journals, games and contests, the kids get an excellent introduction to pet care and knowledge.
In order to focus the learning experience further, the children are divided into 2 classes - 7-9 and 10-12. With such small class sizes, each child has many opportunities for interaction with the animals.
With 3 sessions per year, the classes cover many topics, such as pet care and responsbility, wild animals and animal cruelty. These topics will build a solid base of knowledge for aspiring animal lovers, veterinarians and animal care attendants.
