There are three ways that people give to the HBSPCA—their time, their talent, and their treasure. All three of these ways paws-itively impact our ability to support pets in our community for years to come. We are grateful for all kinds of giving. And we are always heart-struck by the humans who give all three.

Wendy Fries is one of those humans. The kind of woman who loves animals so fiercely that we’re convinced her heart has a little bit of fur inside. She volunteers selflessly for our organization, supports us financially when she can, and, to continue supporting pets long into the future, added a legacy gift for the HBSPCA in her will.

November is Write a Will month. Wills are important for a thousand reasons. One of them being that they ensure your wishes are carried out the way you want them to be. This can include legacy giving—choosing to leave a financial gift to an organization whose work you want to support for many years to come.

Thank you, Wendy.

And thank you to everyone who gives their time, talent, and treasure.

The pets we serve are deeply grateful.
