Our spring lottery has been happening for over 20 years and is an important source of revenue for the HBSPCA. Last spring, we raised more than $18,000 which went towards providing emergency care for animals like Diva–a friendly husky who sustained an untreated injury and needed to have her leg amputated. She’s now embracing a fresh start, thanks to the care she received from our incredible team and the generosity of donors like you.
Here’s how it works: The early bird prize of $2,500 has already been drawn on May 1, and we congratulate the lucky winner, Lynn H. But don’t worry, the excitement continues with daily draws of $1,000 from May 2 to 30. And finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for – the grand prize of $5,000 – will be drawn on May 31! You still have a chance to win big and help the animals in need.
You can purchase your tickets online or if you’re not tech-savvy, no problem! Just give us a call at 905-574-7722 between Monday and Friday from 10am-2pm and one of our friendly volunteers will process your order for you.
Now, let’s talk ticket prices. For just $15, you can get one ticket, but if you want to increase your chances of winning, you can get three tickets for $40, five for $60 or the best value of ten tickets for $100. Please note that ticket prices are not eligible for a receipt for income tax purposes.
