Honour Someone Special with a Gift

A tribute or in memory gift to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA is a heartfelt way to recognize the people and pets who have made your life brighter. When you give in their name, you’re extending their kindness to animals who need safety, care, and a fresh start.

Tribute Gifts

Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or meaningful milestone by making a donation in honour of someone you care about. We’ll share your thoughtful gesture with them, letting them know their impact is reaching animals right here in our community.

In Memory Gifts

A memorial gift is a compassionate way to remember a loved one — whether a person or a cherished animal companion. Your donation helps vulnerable animals receive the shelter, medical care, and support they need, creating a legacy of love in their honour.

A Lasting Act of Kindness

How Your Tribute Makes a Difference

Your gift provides essential care for animals who are counting on us, including:

Safe Shelter and Daily Enrichment

Veterinary Treatment and Urgent Medical Support

Behavioural Care and Rehabilitation

Adoption Services that Help Animals Find Loving Homes

Every tribute gift becomes part of a larger story of hope.

Ways to Recognize Your Gift

When you make a tribute or memorial donation, you can choose how you’d like your gift to be acknowledged. We offer these simple and thoughtful options to let someone know a gift has been made in their honour or in memory of a loved one. We offer several options to acknowledge your tribute or memorial donation:

Personalized e cards

Send an instant notification by email with a customized message. E-cards are delivered quickly, can be personalized with your own words, and are an environmentally friendly way to share that a meaningful gift has been made.

Mailed cards

A printed card can be sent by us through Canada Post for a more traditional touch. Our mailed cards include your personalized message and are sent directly to the recipient or family you designate. Please allow time for delivery.

A Lasting Act of Kindness

When you honour someone through a tribute or in memory donation, you’re helping animals in our community feel safe, valued, and loved. Thank you for choosing a gift that truly changes lives.
