Before the sun rises, dedicated colony caregivers begin the important work of humanely trapping community cats. Each cat arriving at our Community Cat Surgery Day represents a life that will be healthier, safer, and no longer contribute to the cycle of overpopulation.

Throughout the day, our veterinary team performs high-quality spay/neuter surgeries while also providing essential care, including rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, parasite treatment, a health assessment, microchipping, and ear tipping - the universal sign that a community cat has been through a TNVR program.

Behind the scenes, volunteers and staff work together to monitor each cat as they recover in a quiet, temperature-controlled space. Every patient is carefully observed to ensure they are comfortable and ready to return to the outdoor home they know.

For the cats, it's just one day. For the community, the impact lasts a lifetime. Every surgery prevents future litters, reduces nuisance behaviors, improves the health of outdoor cat colonies, and creates a more compassionate community for both people and animals.

One surgery. One healthier cat. Countless lives changed.
