Paws to Remember

The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA warmly invites you to attend Paws to Remember, a gentle and inclusive evening hosted by Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home to honour the beloved pets who have touched our lives. Join us as we come together as a community to remember and celebrate the unconditional love and companionship our animals have given us.

Pets hold a uniquely meaningful place in our hearts and homes. They greet us at the door, sense our moods without words, and offer a steady, comforting presence through life’s highs and lows. For many, they are confidants, protectors, sources of laughter, and cherished members of the family. The bond we share with our animals is simple yet profound, rooted in trust, loyalty, and a kind of love that asks for nothing in return.

When we lose a pet, we lose a part of our daily rhythm and a companion who shaped our lives in quiet but powerful ways. Taking time to honour their memory allows us to reflect on the joy they brought and the lasting impact of their presence. This special evening offers an opportunity to gather with others who understand that deep connection - to share stories, find comfort in community, and celebrate the enduring imprint our pets leave on our lives.

• An Hamilton/Burlington SPCA representative will be present
