Devenez un donateur mensuel

A monthly gift provides vital care for animals in need — including medical treatment, nourishing food, and a safe place to heal. Your ongoing support helps ensure the HBSPCA is ready when the next animal arrives.

Boomer’s Story

Boomer’s story is one of remarkable transformation, made possible by monthly donors. He arrived at the HBSPCA as a community cat, and his condition told us that life had likely been very hard. Cats instinctively keep themselves clean, yet Boomer was so dirty on arrival that his white fur appeared brown. It was clear he had been living in harsh conditions and doing everything he could just to survive.

Thanks to the steady support of monthly donors, Boomer was given the time, care, and patience he needed to heal. As he began to feel safe, his personality softened. With regular meals, cozy places to rest, and consistent human kindness, his coat slowly became clean and bright, revealing the beautiful white and black pattern hidden beneath the grime.

Today, Boomer is almost unrecognizable. He is plump, relaxed, and wonderfully handsome. His transformation is a powerful reminder that with love, stability, and the ongoing generosity of monthly donors, animals who have known hardship can truly flourish. Monthly donors made Boomer's story possible.

Baby’s Story

When Baby arrived in our care, she was suffering from a painful eye condition that had progressed too far to treat. The only humane option was surgery to remove the eye and end her discomfort.
‍
Because of our monthly donors, Baby received the surgery, weeks of follow-up care, and the time she needed to heal. Today, she’s thriving in her forever home—given a second chance made possible by reliable, ongoing support.

Your monthly gift helps ensure animals like Baby get the care they need, exactly when they need it.

Maisie’s Story

Maisie is a sweet, social young cat with a playful spirit. She was surrendered to the HBSPCA when she swallowed something she should not have, causing a dangerous blockage that required emergency surgery.

Because of our veterinary team and the steady support of monthly donors, Maisie received life saving surgery and the care she needed to fully recover. Today, she is healthy, happy, and thriving in her forever home.

Your monthly gift helps ensure animals like Maisie get the care they need, exactly when they need it.

Chipmunk & Squirrel’s Story

Chipmunk and Squirrel were surrendered to the HBSPCA from unknown circumstances when they were just eleven weeks old. When they arrived, it was clear that their world had been very small. They were shy, uncertain, and unfamiliar with the comforts of indoor living. New sounds, new people, and even toys felt overwhelming at first.

Thanks to the ongoing support of monthly donors, our team was able to give Chipmunk and Squirrel the time, care, and patience they needed to feel safe. Through gentle handling, positive experiences, and consistent socialization, they have slowly learned that the world can be a kind and joyful place. Their personalities are beginning to shine as they discover that soft beds are cozy, playtime is fun, and humans can be trusted. Both puppies were spayed and neutered and are growing more confident every day. Because of monthly donors, they are now confident doggies, enjoying the safe, happy lives they deserve in their forever homes.
