From the Ring to Rescue: Larry Takes Over Hamilton Kicks’ Fight Night
Some partnerships just make sense and our friends at Hamilton Kicks Co. proved exactly that.
In August, Hamilton Kicks Co. (67 Frid St Unit 12) brought a little Y2K nostalgia, a lot of community spirit, and one very special four-legged guest together for an unforgettable Themed Fight Night: HiLarry Duff & Friends!

Our very own HBSPCA Pet Visiting Program pup arrived dressed for the occasion in his best Y2K-inspired look, ready to cheer on their members, help spread a little happiness and, of course, raise some much-needed support for the animals in our care.
What started as a fun, high-energy night at Hamilton Kicks turned into something even more meaningful: bringing together fitness, community, a little Y2K nostalgia and a shared love for animals.
It was the perfect reminder that when our community comes together, we can make a real difference for animals who need us.

We are so grateful to the Hamilton Kicks team for welcoming the HBSPCA into their space and for being such a fantastic community partner. Their support helped us connect with new faces, collect much-needed donations, and share more about the work we do to support animals and the people who love them.
And then there’s (Hi)Larry himself!
A tiny puppy who quickly became a very important part of our team - first as a foster fail, and now as a budding Pet Visiting ambassador. His name itself is a nod to someone very special to his mama (and to this story): Hilary Duff.
Which brings us to our favourite little coincidence… Hilary Duff is coming to Hamilton in 2027!
And let’s just say… Larry has a few things up his fluffy little sleeves. Something tells us this Y2K-inspired adventure is only getting started (wink wink, nudge nudge).
A huge thank you again to Hamilton Kicks Co. for helping make this such a memorable night and for supporting the HBSPCA.
