Why Our Furever Friends Give: "I Can't Save Every Animal... But Together We Can."

Every month, hundreds of compassionate people make a simple decision that changes lives. They become a Furever Friend, giving a monthly gift that helps provide food, medical care, shelter, enrichment, and second chances for animals who need us most.

Recently, we asked our monthly donors one question:

Why do you choose to support the animals at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA with a monthly gift?

Their answers reminded us that while every story is different, they all share one thing in common: a deep belief that every animal deserves kindness.

"I can't take them all home."

Many of our donors wish they could rescue every animal themselves. Since they can't, monthly giving is their way of making sure someone can.

"I donate to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA because I don't have the money, the room in my house, or the time to take all of these animals in and care for them the way they deserve myself. The SPCA helps find them loving homes and I wholeheartedly support that." - Ashley

The Love of One Animal Lasts Forever

For Many Donors, Giving is Deeply Personal. Some give because of a beloved companion they adopted through the HBSPCA. Others give in memory of pets who changed their lives forever.
