Keeping Pets Fed and Families Together Thanks to an Incredible Donation

In March, our Pet Pantry was running low on pet food. When we put out a call for support, MARS answered in a big way.

Thanks to their incredibly generous contribution, our Pet Pantry received 87 pallets of cat and dog food, amounting to an astonishing 87,000 pounds and approximately 174,000 meals for pets in need. We are so grateful to MARS for not only this impactful gift, but for their continued support of our mission and the animals in our community.

But what many don't see is just how quickly that food moves.

Our Pet Pantry supports around 3,400 pets, animals who are deeply loved but whose families may be facing financial hardship. With that level of need, even a donation of this size will last only about a month. While this donation makes an immediate and meaningful impact, we are still in need of additional pet food to keep up with the growing demand in our community.

It ensures that no one has to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pet, and that beloved companions can stay where they belong: at home.
