The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA’s Neuter Your Ex campaign lets you name a community cat after your ex for just $20, and we take care of the rest: Trap, Neuter, Spay, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR).

Community cats play an important role in our neighbourhoods, but when left unspayed or unneutered, colonies grow fast. More kittens mean more risks: disease, injury, and even starvation. TNVR is a proven, humane way to keep cats healthy, reduce litters, and support safer, stronger communities. Your donation helps ensure these cats get the care they need—while preventing future generations of kittens from struggling outdoors.

How it Works:

1. Donate $20 per ex to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
2. Select Community Cats Program from the “Designation” drop-down.
3. In the “add comment” section, leave the name(s) of your ex(es). No last names, no tagging, no drama—we’ll take care of the cats.
