Every spring and summer, we see a surge of vulnerable young animals coming through our doors, all needing specialized care, extra attention, and a safe, clean place to grow.

While these tiny arrivals bring so much joy, they also come with big responsibilities. Young animals are more susceptible to illness, and keeping their environment clean is critical to their health and development. Behind the scenes, our staff and volunteers are constantly cleaning, sanitizing, and doing laundry to make sure every animal has the best possible start.

Right now, we urgently need a few everyday essentials to help us get ready for kitten and puppy season:

Dryer Sheets

With laundry running non-stop—from blankets to towels—dryer sheets help keep items soft, reduce static, and ensure animals are as comfortable as possible while they rest and recover.

Paper Towel

From quick cleanups to routine disinfecting, paper towel isa staple in our daily operations. Caring for kittens and puppies means frequent messes, and we go through rolls faster than you might think.

Bleach

Laundry is a huge part of daily life at the shelter, especially during kitten and puppy season. Bleach is essential for properly disinfecting bedding, towels, and other fabrics—helping us prevent the spread of illness and keep our youngest animals safe.
