With Liftow Limited’s #LiftowCares forklift, the Pet Pantry can now manage deliveries more efficiently, helping families and over 5 million pet meals.
We’re excited to share some great news that’s already making a difference at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA — especially for families who rely on our Pet Pantry program.
Through its #LiftowCares campaign, Liftow Limited generously donated a forklift to support our operations. This gift is helping us move, store, and distribute large volumes of pet food more safely and efficiently — a critical need as demand for our Pet Pantry continues to grow.

Previously, the Pet Pantry program often had to wait for a forklift rental before receiving, organizing, and distributing large deliveries efficiently. With this generous donation, our team can now manage shipments immediately, ensuring pet food reaches families quickly and reliably. Having already provided over 5 million pet meals to families in need across Hamilton and Burlington, the Pet Pantry can now operate more efficiently, move larger volumes of food, and serve the community with greater consistency.
The impact of this donation is substantial. Faster unloading and improved storage allow us to handle more food, reduce delays, and provide consistent support to our community. This contribution also enables us to focus our resources where they matter most: supporting animals and the people who care for them.
